The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada, will officially reopen the newly renovated St. Mark’s Chapel at Thorneloe University on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 3:30 pm.

Madame Clarkson will be in Sudbury to receive an honorary doctorate and deliver an address at Thorneloe’s Convocation Ceremony at 7:30 pm the same day. Located on the Laurentian University campus, Thorneloe University is an interdisciplinary centre of teaching, learning and research in the humanities, the arts and theology.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend these special events.
