Blood Relations by Sharon Pollock – MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION

On August 4, 1892 Andrew and Abigail Borden of Fall River, Massachusetts were brutally murdered with an axe in their home. After an investigation and trial that captured the attention of the whole country, a jury unanimously acquitted Andrew’s daughter Lizzie Borden of the crime. No one else was ever charged. Ever since that time Lizzie Borden has been one of the most (in)famous characters in American folk history. This her story of what really happened… maybe.
