Former Governor-General Adrienne Clarkson to address Thorneloe University Convocation and Officially Reopen Thorneloe University Chapel

The Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson, Canada’s former Governor-General, will receive an honorary Doctorate of Canon Law and give the keynote address at the Thorneloe University convocation, Wednesday, October 12, 2011, beginning at 7:30 pm, in the Ernie Checkeris Theatre at Thorneloe University. Media are invited.

While in Greater Sudbury, Madame Clarkson will also officially re-open the newly renovated and renamed Fielding Memorial Chapel of St. Mark on the grounds of Thorneloe University.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is taking place Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Media are invited.
