Theology Courses in Spring and Summer 2011

Thorneloe University’s School of Theology will offer four correspondence courses and two live courses in 2011.

The correspondence courses will include Introduction to the Old Testament, Introduction to the Post-Apostolic Church, Seeking the Historical Jesus, and Spirituality as Relationship. Courses run from May 2 to July 21, 2011 with final exams from July 22 – 30. Deadline to register is May 10, 2011.

The School of Theology will offer a live course on Spiritual Autobiographies with the Rev. Dr. John E Harvey on the Thorneloe campus, Sudbury (June 13-17, 2011) and at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Thunder Bay (June 20-24, 2011). Dr. Harvey is a priest in the Anglican Diocese of Algoma and Registrar of the School of Theology at Thorneloe.

Then in July, the School of Theology will offer a live course examining some “new understandings” of Jesus, titled All New – Same Old with the Rev. Dr. Mark McDermott at St Anne’s Anglican Church, Toronto (July 4-8, 2011) and on the Thorneloe campus, Sudbury (July 11-15, 2011). Dr. McDermott is an Anglican priest, retired from the Anglican Diocese of Niagara, and a regular instructor with the School of Theology.
