First and foremost, we would like to begin by acknowledging that we are on Robinson-Huron Treaty territory and the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnaabeg.
Welcome to the 2019 Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Symposium. We are excited to provide a platform where we can respectfully and thoughtfully engage with the ideas and artwork of our students.
This symposium will hold a light lunch break at noon and will be followed by the book launch of, Feminist Praxis Revisited: Critical Reflections of University-Community Engagement edited by Dr. Jennifer Johnson, Dr. Amber Dean and Dr. Susanne Luhmann. After the scheduled presentations we will break before the book launch. We encourage you to approach the presenters to further discuss their work.
*Please feel free to come and go as you please. However, please be mindful of presentation times and noise. Please silence your phones and give our presenters your fullest attention.
